First Friday is a special day of shopping, art and entertainment the First Friday of every month downtown! Visit a variety of retailers, artist venues and fabulous restaurants, plus music and drinks at all your favorite hot spots!
Come downtown for an evening in lights as DTSF lines the sidewalks of Phillips Avenue and the 8th & Railroad area of the Eastbank with luminaries. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy two great films at The Sioux Falls State Theatre! See complete details HERE.
Eastbank Art Gallery: The member artists of Eastbank will be present for a reception from 5-8pm on First Friday, Feb. 3rd. The display includes a variety of mediums and will be shown through the end of the month. 401 E 8th Street, Suite 116
El Riad Shrine: Do you know your numbers? Find out during the Know Your Numbers Event brought to you by Sanford Health, El Riad Shrine and American Heart Association. Get screened and enjoy a selection of health related booths and presentations. Health screenings available at a reduced cost: $25 Heart Screen, $25 Vascular Screen, $15 Heart Health Profile. First Lutheran Church: Join us at First Lutheran Church on Friday, February 3 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm for the First Friday Movie showing of the classic film, E.T.! Whether you are young, or young at heart, this is a FREE family friendly event. Snacks and drinks are provided free of charge as well. 327 S Dakota Avenue
Julie Prairie Photography: It's National Wear Red Day and First Friday in Downtown Sioux Falls Inc.! Come celebrate the American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day with a fun mini-portrait session. Old Courthouse Museum: On Friday, February 3rd, the Old Courthouse Museum will hold a Behind the Scenes Tour at 12 p.m. Behind the Scenes Tours allow the general public to take a guided tour behind the closed doors of the Old Courthouse Museum. The tour will include the opportunity to view artifacts in the collections storage areas in the attic and basement of the museum as well as a look at the work areas and exhibit preparation shops and other hidden areas. Parker's Bistro: It's not Fat Tuesday yet, but you can get a head start on the festivities by joining us here at Parker's on Friday, February 3rd for a New Orleans styled celebration! Sioux Falls Arts Council: The Sioux Falls Arts Council invites you to come enjoy the debut of painter David Unzicker on Friday, Feb. 3 from 5 to 7PM. Come meet David and hear about his experiences as an art student at Augustana in the early 1970s during his 6 PM gallery talk. This event is free and open to the public and is family friendly.
